Buttery-soft denim breeches you'd happily be caught out in
Lorna Goode and Kristin Calandra are designers from Levi Strauss & Co but left to create Goode Rider, their own brand of Californian based stylish women's equestrian wear that means you don't have to be ashamed of popping to the shops after spending the day at the yard – this clothing is something to be proud of. Lorna and Kristin define themselves as true product people with a passion for both design and horses and we think this ethos screams through in their elegant line of clothing for the polished horsewoman.

Performance equestrian apparel
Kerrits has been going as an activewear company, starting off with swimsuits, since 1986. The founder, Kerri Kent, started with handmaking her own swimsuits in the pursuit of designing more comfortable activewear for athletic woman. In 1991, the New York Times wrote a piece on Kerri who mentioned her desire to spread this line to her other passion; horses. The CEO of Eisers, a leading equestrian company, read the article and approached Kerri to ask her to design a line. Here, Kerrits Performance Equestrian Apparel was born. The evolution has gone from strength to strength, and Kerrits have built up an impressive fanbase of Team Riders and over 1000 ambassadors.
The ultimate outerwear essentials
Established in 1983, Outback Trading Company has maintained a superb reputation for producing incredibly durable and high performing apparel. Wilson King, the founder, had the idea for the company when he was out riding in his faithful Australian duster in a downpour. Wilson went on to pursue the company that had created his duster, Claybourn Brothers Australia, and start his very own line of oilskin dusters. Outback Trading was born, created from one man, his horse and his duster. Glaze & Gordon selected Outback on the basis of their outstanding quality at such a reasonable price, and that style has not been forgotten in all the functionality.

Functional equestrian wear inspired by the track
PC Racewear was born in 2004, when Joules Lamb was at National Hunt Jockey Paul Carberry's house and noticed around 30 different jackets hung on the back door and they decided together to try and come up with 1 all-round jacket. They set to work, and after 2 years of designing, testing, tweaking and retesting the PC jacket was complete. Since 2006 they have expanded the range and had huge success in Ireland, the UK, Norway and France. The PC range is innovative and is designed for freedom of movement along with maximum protection from the elements thus making it ideal clothing for equestrian, agricultural and leisure activities.
Top quality competition wear with a tailored fit
R.J. Classics was founded by Roberta “Bobbie” Weintraub. Bobbie came from an apparel background in New York, where she learned the importance of tailoring, fine craftsmanship, and attention to detail. She was also the mother of an avid junior rider and was having trouble finding equestrian clothing options that fit her daughter’s needs while staying within a budget. Bobbie combined her knowledge of the tailored clothing world to launch the R.J. Classics brand. The goal was simple — to make the highest quality, best-fitting show clothing in a broad range of sizes and at accessible prices.
Luxury ladieswear for the fashion focused
Rönner is a luxuriant Equestrian lifestyle brand founded by two sisters (sounds familiar!) Carin and Jessica Stellabatti Rönner in 2009. Carin and Jessica followed in their Mother's footsteps by immersing themselves in a world of all-things-equestrian, and have created a brand which specialises in attention to detail and using the finest materials. The designs follow their European roots, but add a dash of Latina American flair to stay true to their upbringing in Columbia. You really will find nothing else like the Rönner designs, Glaze & Gordon are super proud to be the first UK stockist.

Novelty needlepoint accessories for humans and home
Smathers & Branson joined forces in 2004, after looking to buy needlepoint belts and realising there was not a company that created the finished item. The biggest challenge they faced was finding an artisan skilled enough to create a product to the perfect standard they were looking for – but after spending time in Vietnam and meeting with stitchers face to face to outline exactly what it was they were seeking they found their artisans and have formed an incredible working relationship. Since the success of the belts, the company has gone on to make lots of different needlepoint accessories – all special, unique and a wonderful addition to our Glaze & Gordon range.

Sheepskin numnahs designed for your horse's comfort
Engel products are made by U.S Sheepskin Inc., which is one of the largest sheepskin manufacturers in the U.S and Canada. Their number one goal is to continue to improve the quality and design of their products, but when you feel these in person you will really wonder how they can improve them. Glaze & Gordon are seriously impressed, and we are hard people to please when it comes to the comfort of our horses.
Engel's numnahs are made with one inch of Merino sheepskin, which looks fantastic and provides unrivalled protection. The natural wicking properties of sheepskin mean it soaks up and dissipates the sweat from your horse keeping them cool, protecting them from rubbing and chaffing and generally keeping them more comfortable.

Technical stirrups for performance and safety
Martin D. Cohen, the founder and inventor of MDC Stirrups, started out with the question 'Is there any reason that stirrups should lay flat against the horse's side?" Martin set about creating forward facing stirrups with safety and comfort on top of the checklist. The adjustable top was born which means these stirrups can be placed flat, at 45°or 90°to the horse's side so you can find which position that results inreduced stress on your hips, ankles, knees, and back.
Martin's passion for his stirrups goes above and beyond the call of duty, and it has rubbed off on Glaze & Gordon.
