The Show

As you may know, our first event of 2018 was The Lycett’s Festival of Hunting on Wednesday 18th June.

We had a super exciting run up to the show as we decided to take part in their Flagship Exhibitor Programme, so were involved in lots of promotional material and giveaways organised by the girls at Bloxham PR. We also hadn’t ordered any new stock since Olympia last year so were inundated with new (very exciting) shipments and we able to launch some brand-new products.

And we're off!

And we're off!

We travelled down on the Tuesday to set up and then spent a VERY cold and sleepless night in the lorry as we expected it to be boiling so only took sheets instead of duvets, and apparently we are not all quiet sleepers..! Wednesday was spent exhibiting and then packing up and driving home.

The Festival of Hunting itself was a wonderful show; quite small but the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the weather was glorious, so we had a fantastic day. Setting up seemed very straight forward compared to Olympia, and our stand looked much better – hopefully it can only get easier from now!

Product News

We are incredibly pleased to announce that we are the ONLY stockist in the UK of Rönner Design products.

Rönner is a luxuriant Equestrian lifestyle brand founded by two sisters (sounds familiar!) Carin and Jessica Stellabatti Rönner in 2009. Carin and Jessica followed in their Mother’s footsteps by immersing themselves in a world of all-things-equestrian, and have created a brand which specialises in attention to detail and using the finest materials. The designs follow their European roots, but add a dash of Latina American flair to stay true to their upbringing in Columbia.

We are stocking their stunning Mimosa Slippers and will be building up a range of their exquisite shirts too. You can find our collection here:

We are also lucky enough to be stocking the wonderfully talented Sophie Botsford’s range of homeware, which proved very popular at the FOH. She has a range of country inspired designs – our favourites are the highland cow, pheasant and fox hounds.

Sophie Botsford has drawn upon her rural upbringing to build a career born from a hobby she has adored most of her life. Sophie’s idyllic childhood (growing up on an arable farm in rural Cambridgeshire) has inspired much of her artwork to date, and after an 11 month internship with figurative painter James Gillick, Sophie plucked up the courage to create her own business.

Sophie is a very welcome addition to the Glaze & Gordon collection, and you can find her products here:

Round Up

All in all, July has been a great month for us and we really feel like we are progressing. Becs is sending Mum & Dad to scope out the Game Fair this weekend to find out if we think we should take Glaze & Gordon next year (a hard task you appreciate, but someone has got to do it). Our next event is Blenheim Horse Trials in September, which we are now busy preparing for and we can’t wait!

Hope you are all enjoying this fantastic Summer we are having, we will hopefully see you at Blenheim!
