Majyk Equipe is THE boot brand of the modern world, developed by dedicated horse rider Michael Sirjani. Michael also happens to have researched and developed top branded sports shoes for the athlete of the human kind. If its good enough for us, then it’s good enough for our equine friends.
We absolutely love the ethos of this incredible brand, with its down to earth roots but still making a major play in becoming the top boot brand. In 2016, 3 out of 4 of the U.S. Olympic Eventing team wore the boots, and in 2017 16 competitors at the Rolex International in Kentucky rode in Majyk Equipe boots making them the number one choice on the circuit. The unusual name (pronounced Magic E-Keep) came from the founders’ beloved Dutch Warmblood mare Majyk Motion, who tragically passed away in 2014 after a battle with cancer, and who remains their inspiration to date. They are certainly doing her proud in keeping her name alive.
With boots for every discipline available, from schooling to cross country, you really are spoilt for choice. The elite cross country and the no-neoprene overreach boots also come in a wide range of vibrant colours, so you are sure to find one to match your scheme - this does mean you will have to buy the whole set though, just to make sure you are matching... obviously! Majyk boots really do exude quality with sturdy Velcro straps and double stitching to make sure they always stay in place. Every boot is packed with technology, and really sets the brand apart as the fixtures and features are so obviously passionately developed by fellow horse owners.
It is not just us that love the boots, international eventer Boyd Martin works closely on the development of the boots with Majyk Equipe and has even produced his own range, “Having worked alongside Majyk Equipe for many years, I can personally say that they are firmly committed to using the very best materials and technology in their boots.”. Coming from an Olympian, that is high praise indeed.
