The Rönner brand began as an independent tack shop in Bogotá, Colombia founded in 1995 by mother, Ines Rönner. A few years earlier, she had ventured from her native Germany to South America on what was meant to be a two-week holiday. Like the best things in life, Rönner was a chance discovery whilst Becs was window-shopping in the Manhattan Saddlery. Her well-trained eye was immediately drawn to their velvet loafer bearing an equestrian motif, which screamed "G&G" in every stitch.
