The wool is sourced from hardy mountain sheep and goats, naturally dyed, and woven in Peshawar before returning to Chitral to be hand-cut and stitched by family tailors. Each jacket is unique, combining heritage, sustainability, and craftsmanship in every detail—a true alternative to mass production.

Founded by Bertie Alexander and Jonty Hall, Peshawar Jackets was created to bring handcrafted Nehru jackets from Pakistan to the UK and beyond. Based in Chitral, a scenic town in the Hindukush mountains, the brand works closely with local artisans to preserve traditional tailoring techniques.

We first came across Peshawar Jackets through our own customers—who wore Glaze & Gordon Classic Hunting Breeches while out hunting and riding across Pakistan. That connection led us to discover the exceptional craftsmanship behind their jackets and the shared values between our brands.

Like Peshawar Jackets, Glaze & Gordon is proudly founder-led, born from a love of tradition, quality, and timeless countryside style. From American and Argentine leather to Scottish tweed, we carefully source from family-run producers who preserve craft and heritage.Peshawar Jackets fits naturally into our collection—garments made with purpose, passion, and a strong sense of place.
