Glaze & Gordon's leather headcollar is made from the same exceptional leather as our bridles, meaning the level of workmanship is outstanding. This, along with the solid brass buckles make the head collar the best of the best, for those that like less bulk than the deluxe padded.
The headcollar is crafted by experienced artisans in the USA using the leather from the Wickett & Craig Tannery in the United States, who have been perfecting the art of leather making for over 150 years, regularly voted the best tannery in the U.S. It is 1" wide with solid brass hardware and adjustable nose band (please note the Extra Full size does not have an adjustable noseband). G & G are confident you will not be able to match the quality and craftsmanship for a comparative price.
After searching far and wide for leather we think brings the 'lux' to 'deluxe' we finally found it across the pond at family-run leather makers in the United States and Argentina. Our artisans have been working with all sorts of leather wear for over 40 years and use the best leather from their respective countries. Their vast experience gives Glaze & Gordon huge amounts of scope to add to our leatherwork range. After many visits to tack shops across the North East of the US, including Connecticut, New York and New Jersey Becs found a US producer of top-quality leatherwork whose craftmanship has helped the G&G Saddlery Range to earn a reputation for affordability and durability on the UK market.
