Introducing our new G&G Classic White Breeches Version 2.0. We have collaborated with professional polo players, to design a pair of breeches that will endure the huge demands of not only polo, but all equestrian sports. 

The G&G Classic White Breeches Version 2.0 are based on the design and fabrics used in the Glaze & Gordon Traditional Training Breeches which we developed with international polo player based at Beaufort Polo Club, Mark Tomlinson and one of our favourite brands, PC Racewear. The superstar feature of these breeches is the hard wearing full seat breeches with superior grip, which are comfortable whilst remaining stylish and wearable out of the saddle too. They are also made of a robust, breathable cotton fabric making them perfect for the rigours of competitive play.

These have been tried and tested for over a year by Mark (pictured here with HRH The Princess of Wales and HRH The Prince of Wales at The Royal Charity Polo Cup 2023) and other leading riders including brand ambassadors Luke Wiles of Beaufort Polo Club and Lila Pearson of Cowdray Polo Club, which has allowed us to incorporate any changes and feedback into our final design! 

Originally designed for competitive polo to offer a modern alternative to white denim we have created them with other rigorous equestrian sports in mind to create the most versatile pair of competition breeches perfect for all disciplines.

They have a lovely roomy upper leg with a higher waist, a thicker waistband with elasticated panels with popper closure to ensure you are comfortable for the duration of your ride. The classic PC Racewear spandex lower leg keeps them safely in place and fit to any calf width. The pleated front and side pockets give a very smart, professional, and classic feel.  Embroidered with the G&G logo on the thigh.

We were lucky enough to bump into Mark at Olympia one year and discovered something missing from the market – unisex breeches for polo and other sports in a more traditional, quintessential style (more like old school hunting breeches) and with added grip-ability. With the training breeches having been so popular we have been delighted to work with Mark again to develop these breeches, jeans are widely used in polo training, but the seams can be rough and rub and the fabric stiff and uncomfortable. So we have developed these to create a pair of hard wearing unisex White Breeches that can also be used for other equestrian disciplines such as Eventing and Show Jumping.

Finding out there was a gap in the market for modern white breeches, and wanting to spread the durability needed to the wider equestrian market.

Care

For best results hand or machine wash on a gentle cycle. Hang to do/do not tumble dry. Wash dark colours separately and zip-up before washing. Do not dry clean.
