Water resistant riding trousers are hard to come by, and none as stylish and effortlessly comfortable as these from PC Racewear.

You can wear these on their own or as over trousers.

PC Racewear was born in 2004, when Joules Lamb was at National Hunt Jockey Paul Carberry's house and noticed around 30 different jackets hung on the back door and they decided together to try and come up with 1 all-round jacket. They set to work, and after 2 years of designing, testing, tweaking and retesting the PC jacket was complete. Since 2006 they have expanded the range and had huge success in Ireland, the UK, Norway and France. The PC range is innovative and is designed for freedom of movement along with maximum protection from the elements thus making it ideal clothing for equestrian, agricultural and leisure activities.

We were looking for a versatile rouser that could double as over trousers when bathing and mucking out and as water resistant trousers for riding in.

**Sizing tip: Generally, the breeches come up tighter around the hips than the waist so, for example, for ladies if you are a size 10 with narrow hips get a SMALL but if you are a size 10 with wider hips get a MEDIUM. For men, a 34" trouser size is generally an X-Large unless you have a wide bottom (lucky you!) then try a XX-Large and so on.**

We found it incredibly hard to find stylish water-resistant breeches, never mind those with the added contemporary features of the PC Racewear range – everything adds up to a huge plus in our opinion.

Care

For best results hand or machine wash on a gentle cycle. Hang to do/do not tumble dry. Wash dark colours separately and zip-up before washing. Do not dry clean.
